What is a Lash Lift?

The Lash lift is the process of lifting your eyelashes, giving a natural effect in relation to eyelash extensions.

Imagine that Lash lift like an eyelash curler. It makes your lashes curl upwards, making them look longer and your eyes more open and bright.

The result looks like you've used eyelash curlers and dyed them! It makes your lashes look darker. It is especially impressive in those women who have natural blondes ή red eyelashes.

What is the process; I will hurt;

The Lash lift it is a chemical treatment. The first stage is cleansing (with a special lotion to remove any make-up residues) and separating your upper and lower lashes.

The upper lashes will be attached around a silicone rod to your eyelid and combed.

A safe permeation solution is then applied. The process works similar to a eyelash perm. The chemical solution dissolves the lash bonds, allowing them to change shape.

After a few minutes, a special lifting lotion - rich in keratin - is applied to the eyelashes for 10-15 minutes, to nourish and "lock" the curvature.

How long do lash lift results last?

Results last about six to eight weeks, depending on your eyelash growth cycle. That is, depending on how fast they grow.

Do I need to do any preparation before the Lash Lift?

  1. We suggest coming to your appointment without eye makeup.
  2. Avoid using waterproof mascara 2-3 days before, as it can leave a residue that can prevent the lashes from attaching properly.
  3. Avoid using sunscreen or moisturizer (around the eye area) before your appointment.
  4. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before the appointment.

What should I watch out for after the Lash Lift?

Avoid water, steam, eye makeup and makeup removal for the first 24 hours after the Lash Lift. Exposure to moisture immediately after the procedure can destroy the result.

After 24 hours, you can treat your lashes as usual – no need to change your routine makeup or stop cleaning your face.

It is recommended to apply a simple eyelash treatment such as coconut oil, which will deeply “nourish” your eyelashes and keep them healthy.

 

In what cases is it recommended to avoid Lash Lift?

  • If you had a Lash Lift in the last 8 weeks.
  • If you have had a history of previous allergic reactions to eyelash dye.
  • If you have had laser surgery in the previous six weeks.
  • If your eyes are inflamed or swollen, crusty or infected.
  • If you are taking hormonal medication.
